Maryann Phillips

Maryann Phillips, age 73, of Moon Township, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Loving partner and companion for 10 years of Joseph Casteel. Beloved mother of Adam Philips, Jessica (Charles) Seibert and David Phillips and Carrie Casteel who she loved like her daughter; sister of Patrick D’Auria, Katherine (late Cosmo) D’Initto, Mark D’Auria and Lucille D’Auria; loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren.   Also survived by nieces and nephews. Maryann graduated from Nyak High School, in New York and the University of Pittsburgh. She worked for PNC Bank for over 20 years. She retired from personnel management in the home office building in downtown Pittsburgh. She was a member of the Moon Township Garden Club, enjoying gardening and spending time in her garden shed, and delighted in playing Mahjongg at the Moon Township Library with friends. During their free time, she and Joe would spend time at their cabin in Tidioute. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Wednesday & Thursday, December 4 and 5 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm, where a funeral prayer will be held on Friday, December 6 at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Church, Moon Township.  The family suggest donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
