Mary “Mitzi” T. (Heiliman) Pusateri, 84, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 29, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family at home.
Born in Coraopolis on June 29, 1940, Mitzi was the daughter of the late Frank and Frieda (Yost) Heiliman and sister to the late Josephine Krithinithis. She spent most of her life in Moon Township, where she and her husband of 60 years, Donald D. Pusateri, built a life filled with love, faith, and devotion.
Mitzi was the loving mother of Robin (Marc) Smith and Todd (Dina) Pusateri, and is now reunited in Heaven with her son, Michael Pusateri. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Mia Smith, who brought her endless joy.
Kind-hearted and humble, Mitzi had a quiet grace that touched everyone she met. Many in the Coraopolis community will remember her warm smile from her years as a caring teller at Union National, Integra, and PNC Bank. She was a faithful member of Genesis Church and lived her life by putting others first, always offering love, support, and a gentle spirit.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, June 1, from 2 PM until the time of service at 3 PM at R. D. Copeland, Ltd., 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mitzi’s memory to The Sewickley Valley YMCA, a reflection of her lifelong commitment to helping others.
She will be remembered always for her warmth, selflessness, and the quiet strength of her love.
