Mary Jo "Kathy" Lang

Mary Jo (Kathy) Lang; Passed away peacefully on October 27th, 2024. Mary was the youngest and 13th child of the late Andrew and Doris Lang. Sister of the late Teresa (Lang) (surviving spouse Robert) Lavery. Mary was a graduate of St. Anthony’s school in Oakmont, PA for exceptional children. Mary Jo (or “Kathy” as she preferred) was loved by all who knew her. Until we see her again, she will be dearly missed. As the undisputed “favorite” of the family, Mary Jo enjoyed being the center of attention of her siblings and her 19 nephews and nieces. Survived by her brothers; Andy (Mark), Greg, Alan (Margaret), Dave, Thomas (Brigette), Jeff (Mary Beth); sisters; Nancy, Linda, Sherry (Richard), Annette (Wayne) and Carol. Family receiving friends at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Irvine Chapel, 702 Beaver Street, Sewickley on Wednesday, October 30th from 6 – 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 31st at  10:30 AM at St. James Church, Divine Redeemer Parish, Sewickley. Everyone is asked to please meet at church.
