Mary L. (Campisino) Wilkins

Mary L. (Campisino) Wilkins, 99, of Coraopolis passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford. Mary was born in Sewickley on October 31, 1925, one of five children to the late Frank and Catherine (Cardimen) Campisino. In 1979, her husband Nathaniel M. Wilkins passed. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diane L. Birch, her granddaughter Courtney, and siblings, Tootsie, Annie, and Frank. Beloved mother of Donna (Louie) Trapizona and Daniel (Gloria) Wilkins; mother-in-law of Frederich Birch; loving grandmother of Christopher (Amy), Jeffrey, Louie Jr. (Mary Beth), and Madison (Dylan); great grandmother of Heather (Foster) and Megan (Marvin); great great grandmother of Porter and Lira; sister of Annette Fiumara (Dino); her beloved nephew Dino Jr; in addition, many other cousins, nieces and nephews who were near and dear to her heart. Mary, the matriarch of the family, was a quintessential caregiver, who not only cared fiercely for her family, but for countless children she babysat during her life. She enjoyed traditions like Sunday dinners and holidays spent with loved ones, celebrating with food and laughter. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was Catholic and had attended both St. Joseph Church and Our Lady of Fatima Church. Visitation Sunday from 11 AM until 3 PM with prayer service at 12:30 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Burial will follow at Coraopolis Cemetery on Monday with everyone meeting at the cemetery at 1:30 PM. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice House for their compassionate and excellent care for our mom and us, too.
