Mary Lou (Dahl) Weymers, 66, of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 2, 2025. She was born in Pittsburgh on September 24, 1958. It was no mistake her maiden name was Dahl, because she truly was a doll of a lady. She was a kindhearted, empathetic friend who always took the time to truly listen. Someone who you could reach out to with any of life’s concerns knowing she would provide loving attention and understanding.
Mary Lou graduated as a registered nurse and served in hospital, family practice, and dialysis clinic settings. She enjoyed listening to pop music, reading romance novels, watching love series, crafting, and collecting porcelain dolls and glass shoes. She always had a fondness for the color blue and gold jewelry. She truly loved and cared for her pups throughout her life.
Mary Lou delighted in being with her family. Traditionally every weekend she would spend time with her parents (Dorothy and Robert Dahl) and sisters Patricia Durler, Anna Marie Devinsky, Kathleen Serapiglia and brother Robert Dahl at “508 Florence.”
Mary Lou was the mother of Timothy Weymers and Kelly Weymers-Courinos and was the grandmother of four grandchildren. As a mother, she gave her best to be generous, nurturing, patient, and attentive to her children’s wants and needs.
Mary Lou will always be remembered as a lovely, gentle-natured, compassionate mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly.
A celebration of life luncheon will be held at Monte Cello’s on September 19, 2025. Please contact the family for more details.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to American Lung Association, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
