Mary M. (Rippole) Tobin

Mary M. (Rippole) Tobin, age 76, of Moon Township passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Paul F. Tobin, Sr.; daughter of Anna and the late Fred Rippole; loving mother of Paul (Beckie) Tobin, Kevin Tobin, Matt (Julie) Tobin, Joe (Lauren) Tobin and Maggie (Rob) Del Gaizo; dear grandmother of Grace, Sarah, Colby, Matthew, Avery, Allison, Abigail, Jameson and Nicholas; sister of Martha Farr, Joseph (Betty) Rippole, Theresa (Gary) Rich and Susan Zanone. Mary graduated from Sto High School in 1966. She received her undergraduate degree at Slippery Rock University and her master’s in education from the University of Pittsburgh. She was an elementary school teacher for a brief time and then, with her husband Paul, founded PKMJ Technical Services, Inc., an Electrical Engineering firm in Moon Township. Over time, her entrepreneurial talent led Mary to also support several successful ventures. She was a past member of the Moon Township School Board. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Monday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A funeral prayer will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 am.
