Mary Musmanno

We are broken hearted to share the loss of our mother, Mary Musmanno,  95, of Moon Township, PA who passed away on March 29, 2025.  Mary was born on November 16, 1929, to Walter and Sarah Carr.   She was the wife to the late Pascal Musmanno of McKees Rocks and is survived by her daughters, Colleen Shields, and Lynne (Bill) Bonelli and son, Matthew (Kim) Musmanno. Mary also leaves behind a brokenhearted, supportive group of relatives, including 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.

      As she raised her three children in Pittock she was also the go to mom for any child who was sick or hurt, as their moms would say “go see Mary Mus” she’ll fix it.  

   At age 54, Mary entered Community College of Allegheny County School of Nursing and graduated as an RN.  She went on to work in the oncology department of Allegheny General Hospital before retiring.   Post retiring, she enjoyed traveling to the states with her companion Herbert Rohall and celebrating the holidays and many get togethers with her family making, to her family, the world’s best meatballs and sauce.  As Mary has chosen cremation, in lieu of flowers, we are requesting for any contributions to go to a hospice care in your area.
