Mary Ann (Pustover) Manson

Mary Ann (Pustover) Manson, formerly of Imperial, and of Coraopolis since 1964, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Caring Heights Nursing and Rehab where she lived for the last 6 years. Born on June 3, 1933, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Matt and Sophie Pustover. Cherished mother of James (Diane) Manson, Lisa (Blaine) Sarver and the late Mark (late Joan) Manson. Sister of the late Paula (Bill) Suhay, Edward Pustover, Louis (late Maxine) Pustover, and Matthew (late Anna Mae) Pustover. Grandmother of Lauren (Spencer) Gilfeather, Nicholas Manson, Arianne Sarver, Noelle Sarver, and Mallory Sarver-Burns (Joe). Great-grandmother of Maverick and Maylee Ward & Carter and Chloe Gilfeather. Mary Ann was a graduate of West Allegheny High School in 1951. She went on to college at age 45 to study child care and development. She worked for Sewickley Care and Development Center Daycare for 23 years. Mary Ann was part of Boy Scout Troop 337, Coraopolis Girl Scouts, and the WWDS (widows, widowers, divorced and single) Club in Sewickley.  She loved all animals, especially cats, and children. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, socializing, crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Caring Heights for their compassionate care.  Friends and family will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Coraopolis on Sunday (7/13) from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis on Monday (7/14) at 10 AM. Interment will follow in the Coraopolis Cemetery. As Mary Ann loved all animals and children, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (https://humaneanimalrescue.org) or UPMC Children's Hospital Foundation (https://secure.givetochildrens.org). Mary Ann loved playing Scrabble and doing crossword puzzles.  If you find the time, please work a puzzle or play a game in her memory.
