Mary E. Hill, of Coraopolis, passed away on Thursday, May 27. Born in Montgomery PA, she was the daughter of Allen and Mildred (Warner) Christman, and the wife of William E. Hill, who predeceased her. She was the long-time head teller for the Coraopolis branch of PNC from the time of its opening in the mid-1960s, and true to her character she always had a line of customers – “we just want to talk to Mary.” She was mother to Doug (Amy Beisel), Nancy (Ralph Ishman) and Susan (Tom Nath), and grandma to Stephen, Elizabeth and David Hill and David, Susan and Tina Ishman, along with three great-grandchildren, Angelina and Arianna Ishman and Levi Woodard. She also had three bonus grandchildren, Lauren (Mike) Pope, Alissa (Tom) Finley, and Steve (Emily) Nath, and six bonus great-grandchildren, Rayna, Jackson, Cooper, Camden, Crew, and Indy. Arrangements are under care of the Copeland Funeral Home, Coraopolis, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. and noon-2 p.m. and funeral at 2, on Tuesday, June 1. Memorial contributions may be made to Oakleaf Personal Care, Inc. in Baldwin or the First Baptist Church of Coraopolis.
