Mary Beth (Smith) Davis, age 59, known to all as “Red”, passed away peacefully, yet, unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born on January 25, 1962 in Pittsburgh to Mary Schneider Gordon and the late James Smith. This beautiful lady with her flowing red hair was loved by many and taken too soon. Mary Beth was a 1980 graduate of Moon Area High School. She loved people and helping others. She was an animal lover, taking in strays, and nursing them to health, bottle feeding kittens taken too young from their moms. She was kind and generous. She loved to bake and cook, spoiling family and friends with her delights. Mary was designated by many as the best nut roll maker, never letting a holiday go by without them. Mary Beth enjoyed bar tending at Wayne’s Bar in Coraopolis and working at McDonald’s in Baden. Her love of children led her to bus driving for both Cornell and Moon Students. Always busy, she generated energy. She loved to dance, teaching the latest dance moves to her siblings. Music was always playing at her home. She adored Queen and WDVE. She actually attended, through winning radio station tickets, the last concert, a tribute to Queen by Guns and Roses in Wimbley Stadium, London England. Needless to say, Mary Beth was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by her mother Mary Gordon of Sewickley; her children Asheley Felinczak of Ambridge and Patrick Felinczak of Tucson AZ; her siblings Linda Ulzio (Raymond) of Harmony, Dianne Doran of Rochester, Sandra Doran of Mt. Lebanon, James Smith of Coraopolis and Richard Doran of Baden; her precious grandson Elijah Freeman “EJ” of Ambridge; also many nieces and nephews. Mary Beth was preceded in death by her father, James Smith, her infant daughter, Kelly Lee Felinczak, and her beloved dog, Taz. Memorial visitation Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Locks of Love or Beaver County Humane Society.
