Mary Louise (Richardson) Brock

Mary Louise Brock, 97, of Sewickley died on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at The Masonic Village, Sewickley.  Born on September 25, 1923 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Honorable Joseph A. Richardson and Genevieve (Loveless) Richardson.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gibson E. Brock; her brother, Joseph A. Richardson, Jr; and her nephews, Christopher J. and Dean F. Richardson.  She is survived by her niece, Amy (Walter) Howcroft.

Mary Louise graduated from Wheaton College in 1945 with a Bachelor’s degree.  She worked as a secretary for a law firm.  A beautiful write up appearing in the Pittsburgh Press was published on Sunday, November 8, 1959 of her marriage to Gibson E. Brock at the Heinz Memorial Chapel.  Mary Louise and Gibson started their love of travel in Europe for their honeymoon which over the years included tropical places like Bermuda. 

Per the family’s request, all services were private.  Mary Louise has been inurned with her husband at the Allegheny Cemetery. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
