Marjorie A. (Rodgers) Jones, 87, of Moon Township, formerly of Robinson and Cranberry, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from Apple Blossom, Moon Township. Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, W. Blair “Ted” Jones. Loving mother of Karen Roach (Jim) and Barbara Langmann (John); cherished grandmother of Jennifer Potts (Keith), Kevin Roach (Jennifer), Lindsay Verbene (Giovanni), David Stieving and Hannah Stieving; proud great grandmother of Katelyn Potts, Joseph Potts, Kaletta Roach, James Roach, Antonio Verbene, Giuliana Verbene, Matteo Verbene and Noah Roach; sister of John Rodgers (Michelle); aunt of Michael Rodgers and Nicole Frier (Jim); great aunt to Max and John. Margie was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. Her life was centered around loving her family. She had a sweet disposition that welcomed everyone and made them feel like she was their mom. She would spoil her children and the neighborhood children with cookies and Kool-Aid. She loved to bake “cookies”, and no one could top her nut rolls at Christmas. Every grandchild and great grandchild were blessed with her hand-sewn quilts. In fact, she would refer to her grandchildren as “her treasurers”. A fond memory all the grandchildren will hold in their hearts, were donuts on the porch. She loved implicitly. One of her hobbies was traveling with her husband and they actually went to Maui, Hawaii 24 times. It was their “Happy Place”. Marjorie brought joy to those near to her and she will be greatly missed. Services are private at Copeland’s Moon Township. Burial will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, that donations, if desired, to be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
