Marion Lee Smith
Obituary
Marion Lee Smith was called home on August 4, 2023. Lee was born at the Sewickley Valley Hospital on June 2, 1970, to Donna Maria (Smith) Alston and John Edmon Luton. Lee was a graduate of Cornell High School, class of 1989. Lee spent his last moments with his fiancée, Christine Smith-Carter, and Granddaughter, Nazyah Grace McCardle. Lee spent his life walking in faith and worshipping God.
He leaves to cherish his memory of three grandchildren, Zar'Ion Prince Kaelynn Walker, Zakai Jaelynn Walker, and Nazyah Grace McCardle. In addition, a host of brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews, and devoted friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his Daughter, Jonica Tyler Smith-McCardle, and Granddaughter, Zamiyah Taylor, Mother Donna Maria (Smith) Alston; Father, John Edmon Luton, Sister Dayna Luton; Maternal Grandparents, Rev. Marion Hargrove Smith and Sarah Smith, Paternal Grandparents, Carrie Cunningham and James Luton, very special Aunts, Wilma Smith and Mary Lee Smith and nephew, Joseph Anderson.
His family will dearly miss Lee.
Friends received on Friday at R. D. Copeland, Ltd., 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis from 11 - 1 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm.
