Marie R. (Rosner) Nickles

Marie (Rosner) Nickles, age 88, a life-long resident of Neville Island, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born August 19, 1930 in McKees Rocks, she was the only daughter of 7 children born to the late Joseph and Rosina (Posch) Rosner. Marie was preceded in death on July 5, 2003 by her beloved husband of 53 years, William A. Nickles, Jr. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Joe, Frank, Jack, Carl and Bobby. The center of Marie’s life was her family. She is the loving mother of Robert F. Nickles of Neville Island, Cindi (Robert) Ferguson) of Neville Island and Suzann (Timmy) Snyder of Moon Township; cherished grandmother of Heather (Scott) Ochman of Coraopolis, Robert (Emily) Nickles II of Pittsburgh, T.J. (Kristin) Snyder of Center, Courtney (Adam) Biancucci of Monaca, and Amber (Ben) Snyder; proud great grandmother,”Ree-Ree” of Hailey, Dominick, Jordan, Mylee, Peyton, Lainey, Addisyn and Nora; loving sister of Jim (Pat) Rosner of Hanover. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also was a faithful member of St. Joseph Church and Christian Mothers. Visitation Thursday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where prayers will be recited on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at St. Joseph Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
