Louis Michael Lee, 77, a Moon Township resident most of his life, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home. He was born in Sewickley on May 29, 1944, one of five children to the late Roalf Harrison Lee Sr. and Margaret Johnson Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Micah Lee and brothers Roalf E. Lee and Gregory A. Lee. Post high school, Louis decided to join the U.S. Marines. After discharge, Louis had been employed by Pittsburgh Forgings, J & L Steel Aliquippa Works and retired as the Manager of Mitchell’s Jewelry. He was an avid and decorative/design gardener. He had a peaceful, calm, and quiet air to him with a very deep and abiding faith. Louis also had an infectious personality that made people fall in love with him. Louis, a very creative person, was an accomplished self-taught musician in the flute and keyboard. He also had a beautiful singing voice and had made several cameo appearances with the Del Vikings (a Pittsburgh musical group started at the US Air Force Base in Moon Township). Former spouse and loving companion of Norma Joanie Bryant; beloved father of Michael J. Lee (Marcia), Louis Mark Lee, Gregory D. Lee, Michelle Williams, Melaine Lee, Marissa Lee, and Mya Lee; cherished brother of Candace Lee Morman (James) and Kim Lee (Russell Williams); 18 loving grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and many friends. Visitation Tuesday (May 10th) from 11 AM until time of service at 2 PM.
