Lois Firanski Obituary

Lois A. Firanski, 88, of Moon Twp, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Caring Heights Community Care and Rehabilitation. Born February 18, 1933 in Pittsburgh, formerly in the part of Pittsburgh, known as Allegheny City, she was one of seven children to the late Louis and Laura (Murray) Eshenbaugh. Lois worked as a notary at Garzony’s Auto. She enjoyed bingo, bowling in a league and cheering on her beloved Steelers.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo S. Firanski, Jr; her siblings, Theresa “Tessie” Jaquay, Thelma Eshenbaugh and Thomas Eshenbaugh.

She will be remembered and missed by her children, Lea (Maurice A.) Garzony, Leo (Colleen) Firanski III, and Luann (Michael) Weber; her grandchildren, Maurice J. Garzony, Richard A. Garzony, Jaclyn M. Pack, Nicole M. McComb, Lauren Firanski, Leo Firanski IV, Karie Charlton and Daniel Weber; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Aiden, Gianna, Avery, Mia, Kayleigh, and Zachary, and Abel; her siblings, Norma Brahler, MaryLou McKay and Louis “Butch” Eshenbaugh.
