Our sadness is immeasurable. Our sister, Linda Ann Baumgartner, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital. She was only fifty-five. As we return her to Our Lord, she was greeted by her parents, Thomas and Mary Alice (Muller) Baumgartner, her brother Timothy Baumgartner and her precious niece Kasey Faith. Linda was born in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh on April 2, 1969. She grew up in Kennedy Township and graduated from Montour High School, Class of 1988. After high school, she made her home in McKees Rocks. Her career was at PNC in HR Payroll and later in member benefits with Highmark. Linda was a proud member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Linda was inquisitive and a life-long learner. She enjoyed reading, traveling and being at the beach and near the ocean. She was fascinated by Pirate Lore and Battle Ships. Linda was a free spirit who loved music. She was a bit of a flower child, Hippie, innocent, and did not have a mean bone in her. She was gentle and kind, loving animals, feeding the birds, learning bird calls, and appreciated nature. She is survived by her brother Thomas Baumgartner, Jr. and sister and brother-in-law Jill and Terry Burke. A celebration of her life for family and friends will be held at Sophia’s in Kennedy Township, date, and time to be determined. Arrangements by Copeland’s. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to a Humane Society of your choice.
