Lawrence “Larry” Pleskovich

Lawrence “Larry” Pleskovich; Age 81, a resident of Moon Twp, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 19th 2026. Larry was born in McDonald, PA on June 9th, 1945, a son of the late Frank J. and Jennie (Somsky) Pleskovich. He was the cherished brother of Linda LaRocka (late Sonny) of Moon Twp, Albert Pleskovich of Henderson, NV, Roger Pleskovich (Ronda) of Marietta, OH and the late Frank Pleskovich, Jr. (late Patty). Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Larry was a 1963 graduate of Fort Cherry High School where he went on to serve as a member of the Class Reunion Committee for many years. After high school, he worked for Hertz at the Pittsburgh International Airport in which he retired after a long career. He was a member of the Rosary group from St. Margaret Mary in Moon Twp. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing cards with his family and he was an avid bingo player. Friends and family will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp, PA 15108 on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 2 -8 pm. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 24th at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Vitas Hospice for their gracious and compassionate care.
