Lawrence G Schwartz, Sewickley

In the early morning of July 30, 2025, Larry passed in peace at the age of 88. Always an
early riser it was appropriate that his time on earth ended at dawn.
Larry was the youngest and last remaining child of Peter and Martha Schwartz who proceeded him. His sisters Florence (Lacy), Cleo (Lester and Robert), brothers William
(Madeline) and John ( Janet) also proceeded him in death.
Born on 3/31/1937 and raised in Sewickley. After high school he served in the US Army.
He returned to Sewickley and started a family marrying his Beautiful Bride of 63 years,
Jean. They have a son Gregg (Leigh) of Bell Acres and a daughter Gail of Aleppo Township.
Always hard working, independent and entrepreneur he worked at many endeavors which provided for a comfortable and fulfilling life for himself, wife, children and their
families as well. He worked as a truck driver for Air products and Beaver Valley Builders Supply. Owned and operated his own contracting company and loved operating his sawmill. Also, owned and operated a service station, trailer parks and rental properties. Always loved helping others out with jobs.

He also loved his garden, spending time soaking in the sun, going up to his cabin in Tionesta and traveling. He enjoyed see his grandchildren; Garth (Brittney), Avery (John), Evan, Brianna (Tucker), Marissa and Clara. He is also survived by his great grandchildren; Hallie, Maisy, Colson, and Gauge. Larry spent his last years with his devoted granddaughter Marissa, and forever furry friend Daisy just enjoying the sun and reminiscing about working.

Arrangements will be completed by Copelands of Sewickley, there will be no service and interment will be private at Sewickley Cemetery.
