Larry J. Cavill

Larry J. Cavill, 78, of Moon Township, formerly of Baldwin, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Apple Blossom Senior Living. Larry was born on August 7, 1946, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Clifford Cavill and Florence (Davis) White. On April 21, 2020, he was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 49 years, Brenda Joyce (Kibe) Cavill. Larry was preceded in death by his loving stepfather William White and his brother Robbie White. Beloved father of Michelle Stryker, Denise Hodder (Michael) and Faith Horne (Scott); proud grandfather of Heather Jump, Cassie DeShantz, Maura DeShantz, Bethany DeShantz, Ryan DeShantz, Thomas Cavill, Caitlin Cavill, Nicholas Hodder, Matthew Hodder, Kyle Horne, and Kara Horne; great grandfather of Ellie, Luka, Isla, Elijah, Leo, and Carter; brother of Kathy Bornemann (Butch) and John White (Beth). For over 40+ years, Larry was a still operator at Neville Chemical. He also had been employed by Asbury Heights in Security. In his spare time, Larry relaxed by hunting and fishing.  Larry had a sly sense of humor before the zing, He also had a sharp tongue with quick wit.  All in all, he had a way of making others smile. Visitation Thursday (January 2nd) and Friday (Jan. 3rd) from 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. The service will be held Saturday (January 4th) at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
