Kenneth D. Owens, Sr.

Kenneth D. Owens, Sr., 82, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center. Born on September 19, 1937 in Sewickley, he was one of two to the late James and Juanita (Reynolds) Owens. Beloved husband for 30 years to Maxine (McBride) Owens; loving father of Kenneth (Bonnie) David Owens, Jr. of Center and Michelle (Kevin) Brown of Philadelphia; cherished brother of Dolores Spencer of Coraopolis; proud grandfather of Jason (Megan) Owens, Christopher and Cara Owens; great grandfather of Gizelle and Zoe Owens; and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives and friends. Kenneth was retired from Pittsburgh Forgings, had served in both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. He had been a member of Brighton Pioneer Lodge and the Elks in Coraopolis and Beaver Falls. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM at Copeland's Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave.. Burial will follow in Coraopolis Cemetery.
