Kay Lynn (Rowe) Fazio

Kay Lynn (Rowe) Fazio, 85, of Moon Township, passed away peacefully with her family present at Woodside Place of Washington on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Kay Lynn, the only child of the late Stewart and Miriam (Broker) Rowe, was born in Vandergrift on August 4, 1939. On February 4, 2008, she was preceded in death by her husband for 48 years, Carl D. Fazio. Loving mother of Bobbie Lynn (the late Dave) Copeland and Carl S. (Ashley) Fazio; cherished Grandma and MiMa of Domenic (Luis) Fazio, Celena (Kevin) Clark, David (Francesca) Copeland, Matthew (Demi) Copeland, Carley, and Cooper Fazio. A devoted couple, Kay and the late Carl were inseparable. In fact, it could be said that Kay was her husband’s hobby. They did everything together and were joyful about it. Just simple things, like cooking in the kitchen, attending MASCA and Moon Township AARP, working at West Hills Food Pantry. Every Sunday before leaving for church, the sauce was put on to simmer while Kay, Carl and their children attended Zion Lutheran Church. Kay and Carl, faithful followers of Christ, were both pillars of the church. Kay also participated in West Hills Food Pantry and Robin Hill Art Society. Kay was a warm and welcoming person that people just gravitated to. She had a loving personality and nurturing nature. She opened her heart and home to everybody. Being the gracious host and a great cook and baker, no one ever left hungry. Visitation Sunday (Jan. 19th) from 1-4 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. Her funeral service will be held on Monday (Jan. 20th) at 10 AM at St. Philip's Church, 1629 Beaver Grade Rd., Moon Township, PA 15108. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. A burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, McKees Rocks. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodside Place of Washington and Gateway Hospice for their care and kindness toward their mom.
