Kathleen A. Wise

Kathleen A. Wise, Age 83, a longtime resident of Moon Twp, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Jack W. Wise. Mother of Patrick (Laura) Wise of Moon Twp and the late Joseph (Mary Jo) Wise. Sister of Marlene, Peggy, George, Bobby, Jackie, and predeceased by siblings, Julia, Patty, Daniel, and Thomas. Grandmother of Christian Wise and Cassandra Strelinski. Great-grandmother of Paul. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Kathleen was the oldest of her 9 siblings. She quickly stepped into the role as their caretaker, changing her 1st diaper at just 4 years old. She was an associate at the sisters of Saint Joseph and also the Amherst Garden Club. She enjoyed bowling on Wednesday nights, and she was very active, enjoying her daily 5 mile walk. With too many friends to count, she was always available whenever needed. She loved her extended family and friends with all of her being. She especially enjoyed her Saturdays with her son Patrick. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc, 981 Brodhead Rd, Moon Twp on Friday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 PM. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, November 26, at the funeral home at 9 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (St. Margaret Mary Parish) at 9:30 am.  Burial will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Monday, November 28th.
