Joyce A. (Blanchard) George

Joyce A. Blanchard George, of Moon Township, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Beloved wife of her high school sweetheart of 63 years, James J. George; loving mother of Heather (Timothy) Frenz and James J. “Jay” (Kayann) George II; beloved Mommom of Brian and Allison Frenz. Joyce was a 1957 graduate of Moon High School. During her time in high school, she was a ballroom dancer for Nancy Lee Koontz and later became a dance and gymnastics instructor for Carol Leone. Joyce worked as a secretary for 10 years at Dravo and then moved on to being the office manager for James J. George, CPA and, eventually worked in the administrative office of Heather R. Frenz CPA.  She loved to golf and spend time with her many friends.   Joyce danced her way through life enjoying the moment and supporting her family both at work and in their happy home. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Rd., Moon Twp., where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10am.
