Joyce A. (Cegelski) Christian

Joyce A. Christian; Age 75, a lifelong resident of Moon Twp, passed away on Friday, February, 2026 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Joyce was the beloved wife of 49 years to the late Jack Christian who passed in 2022. Cherished mother of Eric Christian. Grandmother of Erica and Tabitha. Great-grandmother of Sylvia. Sister of Michael (Doris) Cegelski, William (Carol) Cegelski and Janice (Dan) McCoy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Joyce was a graduate of Moon High School and later from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Often called “Mother Superior” by her colleagues, she worked in the recovery room at Ohio Valley Hospital for 50 years. Joyce left an impression on all those she knew and loved and she will be missed by her family and friends. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp on Thursday (Feb 12th) from 4 – 8pm. A prayer will be held at the funeral home on Friday (Feb 13th) at 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment will be private.
