Joseph A. Mussomeli

Joseph A Mussomeli, loving husband, father and grandfather, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at home.  Survived by his loving wife of 50 years Virginia (Palumbo) daughters Andrea (Dan) and Christine (Joey); and loving pap to Carson and Andrew, the absolute joy of his life!  Joe was a loving man and provider who will be greatly missed by all.  His greatest joy was tinkering in his basement and garden with Carson and Andrew; vacationing with his family at Geneva-on-the-lake; golfing and bowling with his buddies, especially his best buddy and brother, Dominick. ; preceded in death by his parents; Peter and Bessie (Taromina) Mussomeli, his siblings, twin brother Mike (surviving spouse, Kathy), Andrew (surviving spouse, Grace) and brother-in-law, Jim Steiner (surviving spouse, Mary).  He is survived by brothers Dominick (Joan); Mario (Carol) and Sammy (Sharron) and many loving nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.  Daddy was one of a kind and a true family man whose greatest pride and happiness was being a husband, father, and pap. Friends received on Tuesday at R.D. Copeland, LTD, 867 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis for 2 – 4 & 6 – 8pm where a Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 am.  The family kindly requests no memorial blankets.
