Johnny A. Moraca

John Anthony Moraca, 55, was born on July 22, 1969in Rochester, PA and raised in Sewickley, PA. Hepassed away on August 22, 2024 in Henderson, NV. John attended Quaker Valley High School and graduated from Brehm Preparatory School.

Lovingly referred to by family and friends as ‘Johnny’, he was full of life and lived life to its fullest. Johnny always had a smile on his face and a gregarious personality, which made him a natural at sales. He owned a company selling nutritional supplements and nutraceuticals nationwide.

Johnny resided in Henderson, Nevada and was an avid golfer playing courses from coast to coast. A huge Steelers fan, he never missed a game. If you had a question about a player or a play, Johnny was the one to call! He was also an animal lover and will be deeply missed by his pets, dogs Lola & Gaston and cat, Goji. 

Johnny is survived by his father Dr. John I. Moraca, and mother, Betty (Rogozewicz) Moraca of Sewickley, PA; sister, Lisa M. Moraca, of Alpharetta, GA; brother Dr. Robert J. Moraca (Holly), niece Sydney, nephews Lucas and Ryan of Seattle, WA; and sister, Lori A. Moraca, of San Francisco, CA.  Johnny was loved byand had special relationships with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and extended family. In addition to his family, Johnny had a close group of friends and cherished those relationships.

Friends will be received at Copeland Funeral Home in Sewickley at 702 Beaver Street on Friday, September 6, 2024 between 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm. Family and Friends will gather Saturday, September 7, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church, Sewickley, where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am.
