On May 22, 2021 Johnathan Michael Smith was called Home. Johnathan was born in Sewickley Valley Hospital and was raised in Sewickley, PA. He was educated in Quaker Valley School System. There he participated in Football and Track and Field, he earned 4-year letters in both sports. After Graduation, he went to Geneva College for two years and was part of their football squad. After Johnathan left college, he worked many places, and he enjoyed cooking and eating. In 2017, Johnathan was hired by MRC Global where he worked until his death. Johnathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother-Ruby Boler and Grandfather Bernard Boler. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Francis I. Smith and Phyllis Smith. He was also preceded in death by his cousin Kelley Hankinson. He leaves behind his mother Marian M. Smith, father Francis I. Smith, Jr., and brother Francis I. Smith, III (Trei), Aunt Mildred King (Oliver), Sherry Boler, Valerie M. Smith, Stephanie G. McNeill and Uncle Calvin Massie, cousins Darria and Aaron King, Kenny Hankinson, Lena and Keldan Carr. The special love of his life was Cortney Birt and what a “Love Story”. And a host of Great Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He is loved and will be terribly missed. There will be a Memorial Service June 5, 2021 2-4 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Heart Association.
