John C. Vaccaro

John C. Vaccaro, age 86, of Sewickley passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Son of the late Lorenzo and Antoinette Vaccaro; beloved husband of Marcie Vaccaro and the late Mitzi Vaccaro; loving father of Kevin (Stacey) Vaccaro, Daniel (Brenda) Vaccaro, David (Hope) Vaccaro, John (Kelly) Vaccaro, Amy (Mark) Quinn, Craig(Jen) Edmunds and Todd (Heather) Edmunds, brother of Albert and the late Larry Vaccaro; dear  grandfather of Chloe Kay, Max, Marin, Gabrielle, Morgan, Beckett, Xavier and Lexton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John worked for the Quaker Valley School District for 37 years as a mechanic helper and driver. He was very active providing not only transportation but sideline support for the sports teams. He was the oldest active member of the Sewickley Italian Sons of Italy and was a current member of the Sewickley Men’s Club at the YMCA. Many will remember John as the barber in Sewickley as well.  Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Ltd., Irvine Chapel, 702 Beaver Street, Sewickley on Wednesday 4 – 8 pm and Thursday 2 – 8 pm, where a Funeral Prayer will be held on Friday at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. James Church, Sewickley at 10:30 am.
