John M. Sirkoch, age 94, of Moon Township passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Beloved husband of 53 years of the late Charlotte J. Becker Sirkoch. He is survived by his son, Jack (Jane) Sirkoch, eight grandchildren; Sarah, Adam, Branigan, Douglas, Allyson, Curtis, Gregory, Andrew and four great grandchildren; Nakoda, Evergreen, Mason and Camryn. He was preceded in death by sons, James (Deanna) and Jeffrey (Dawn), his daughter, Amy Shipman (Paul) and Gloria Antonelli Turkas, his latter years beloved companion. John served in the U. S. Air Force – Strategic Air Command during the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in electrical engineering. He founded Sirkoch Associates, an electrical equipment manufacturers sales agency in 1973, which is currently operated by his son Jack and grandson Adam. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2555. John was a licensed pilot who loved flying, and he enjoyed golf, hunting and target shooting with his sons and friends. Friends received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm where a funeral prayer will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to ST. Jude’s Research Hospital and the Shriners Hospital for Children.
