John J. Petrush

John J. Petrush; Age 83, passed away on Thursday, November, 20th at Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Twp. John was born October 15, 1942 in Rochester, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Helen Petrush. Beloved husband of Lenora Jean Partel. Cherished father of John J. Petrush, Jr. (Judi) of Murrysville and Joshua Petrush of Orlando, FL. Brother of Katherine (late Pete) Cilli of Bluffton, SC. Grandfather of Cecelia Petrush and Nicholas Petrush. John graduated from Midland High School in 1960. He went on to further study at Princeton University, graduating in 1964 and then Stanford Law School in 1967. He lived in San Francisco for one year before moving back home to Beaver, PA where he ran his own private practice. He served as the Beaver Boro solicitor for many years and was a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Association. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church on Wednesday, December 3rd at 10 AM. Everyone please meet directly at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital Arrangement entrusted to R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Inc.
