John Pawuk Obituary

John “Earl” Pawuk, of Coraopolis, passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2020. Born on September 18, 1940, he was the son of the late John and Verba Pawuk. Earl previously worked at Pittsburgh Forgings before working as a mail carrier for 25 years for the United States Postal Service.  In his youth, he enjoyed playing all sports. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Earl loved to travel by car to their games, no matter where it was. Since he loved traveling so much, he would always make sure to sight see on his way to games. He also loved listening to country music on his road trips. Earl was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coraopolis. He will be remembered as a kind, intelligent man and will be missed dearly.

Earl is survived by his sisters Carol Pawuk and Karen DeChellis (James), sister-in-law Liz Pawuk, and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother Bill Pawuk.

Services for John will be private. Arrangements by Copeland’s.
