John M. Merriman

John M. Merriman Age 68 Of Hopewell Twp native of Sewickley, PA passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, as a result of complications from a fall in his home on September 2, 2022. Beloved husband of 37 years to the late Candace "Candie" E. (Callahan) Merriman. Brother of Jo Ann (Rudy) Plese and Charles (Nicky) Merriman. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Despite overcoming medical challenges throughout his life, he lived life to the fullest. John will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his kindness, easy-going personality, and his love of fantasy football. Friends are invited to celebrate a memorial mass for John & Candace at Divine Redeemer Parish, St. James Church, 200 Walnut Street, Sewickley, PA 15143 on Saturday, November 19 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Sewickley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Church, 200 Walnut Street, Sewickley, PA 15143. Arrangements entrusted to R.D.
