John P. Betsch

Betsch, John P.: On Saturday, October 9, 2021.  Beloved husband of the late Alberta Betsch. Loving father of Carol (Gary) Grandstaff and Anita King. Brother of Alvina (Ronald) Moore, Richard (Elizabeth) Betsch, late Ann Groom, Alberta Groom, Louis Betsch and Peter Betsch. Grandfather of Amy (Brendan) Bernard, David (Maggie) King and Gregory King. Great-grandfather of Luke and Ava Bernard. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and estranged wife Eileen Betsch. John was a veteran in the US Army during WWII, having served in the Phillipines. He used his capable hands and adept mind as a machinist, and took pride in being able to build practically anything well enough to last forever.  John loved his family deeply, and his favorite thing to do was spending time with them.  Visitation on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at R.D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at St. Joseph Church at 12:00 pm. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Twp.
