Jessica Lynn (Rosemeier) Robson

Our hearts are broken and tears flow freely down our cheeks as we announce that our beloved mother Jessica Lynn Robson passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9th, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Jessica was born on August 17, 1955, one of two children to the late John and Elizabeth (Belmonte) Rosemeier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jody L. Dawson and her brother Scott Rosemeier. Jessica was a resident of Robinson Township most of her life and was a member of the Christian Life Assembly. For over 30 years, she worked at the Western Area YMCA as administrative assistant.  Her favorite TV series was The Golden Girls. She was an avid Steelers Fan as well as a Pittsburgh Pirates. Beloved mother and best friend of Kimberly and Richard Karl; grandmother of Andrew Fielding;  her former husband Frank Robson; cherished aunt of Kristina Rosemeier and John Rosemeier; sister-in-law of Marge Rosemeier. My mom was an ordinary mom, just like all of your moms, but she was my mom.  She was the person who gave me life, always with never-ending unconditional love. She nurtured me with comfort. She was the one who bandaged by “boo-boo” and wrapped her arms around me in the best hug ever. She taught me how to form routines, take care of my house in an orderly way. My teacher, she taught me how to say my nightly prayers, always read me nightly stories, helped me with homework, and later larger projects. By watching her, she gave me a blueprint for my life skills. She encouraged me, growing my confidence and independence. She taught me to use loving words. Her discipline was always calm, while gently setting respectful boundaries. She listened intently to my every concern and helped talk over wise solutions.  An ordinary mom who did so much for me and was my everything. I will always love you and keep you in my heart. I hope your mom was as special as my mom and that you cherish the time you may still have with your mom. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 with service at 4 PM followed by further visitation 6-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. Burial will be private on Wednesday at Coraopolis Cemetery.
