Jerri Lynn (Sable) Ornouski, daughter of Robert Lee Sable and Anna Lee (DeVault) Sable of Cadiz, Ohio, aged 67, passed away peacefully at her new home in Coraopolis, PA, with her loving son Bryan and son-in-law Ray (Kind of, they’ve been together for 12 years…She asked for them to be verbally hooked!!!) She is also survived by her son Bernard, Jr. (Nicole); siblings Bob (Peg) Sable, John Baumgardner, Thomas (Mary) Sable, Ronald (Bertha) Sable, and Sharon (Randall) Williamson; and a slew of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews (Hey people, we’re paying by the word here)…she loved them very much and she remains very proud of them (mostly).
She was preceded in death by her father Robert, mother Anna, sister Judith, and husband Bernard.
Jerri was a woman who lived by her faith in God, family, and that the next time she hit the “SPIN” button, she’d hit the JACKPOT!!! She made the meanest pepperoni rolls, most decadent baked goods, and took pride in keeping a beautiful home.
If you look up the definition of “tough cookie,” the New Merriam-Webster Dictionary would simply show a picture of Jerri Lynn holding a Milwaukee’s Best and her next prescription for chemo. Cancer did not win; she did. Many women would not have survived their initial surgery whereas Jerri kicked cancer’s ass for 7 long years. For that, Bryan and Ray are so very grateful; they cherish every moment they were able to spend helping her through that journey. #EFFCANCER
