Jeffrey Marsico

Jeffrey Marsico, age 75, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. He was born the son of the late Peter and Marie Stasiefski Marsico. He was the beloved husband of 52 years of Christine Podbielski Marsico; loving father of Gregory (Tamara) Marsico; dear grandfather of Kaleb and Kinsley Marsico; brother of the late Robert “Bobby” Marsico; brother-in-law of Hank (the late Barb) Podbielski, Doug and Barb Dunlap, Kay (the late David) Podbielski and Tom and Sue Podbielski. He grew up with a very close group of cousins in the Sharpsburg area. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Jeffrey grew up in Sharpsburg, PA. He graduated from Sharpsburg High School. He continued his education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)where he joined the TKE Fraternity. He attained his bachelor’s degree in criminology and had a long and stellar career in federal law enforcement where he developed many lifelong friendships.  After his retirement, he continued supporting his community by working at the Sewickley YMCA and volunteering with Faith in Action and for the Meals on Wheels. He was also a member of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Margaret Mary Church in Moon Twp. In his free time, he was a Pittsburgh sports advocate and a car enthusiast, although, his most precious time was spent with his family and friends. Friends will be received at R. D. Copeland, Inc., 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm where a Funeral Prayer will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Mary Church at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease research at https://www.cmtausa.org/ways-to-give/donatecmta/ or sending to  Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, PO Box 105, Glenolden, PA 19036.
