Jeffrey Bolea, 73, of Chesterfield, passed away on July 19, 2025, in his home.

Jeffrey loved his family and is survived by his wife of 37 years,  Debra Davis Bolea; son, Matthew James Bolea; grandchildren, Elijah, Arianna and Kinsey; brothers, Rudy, Albert (Celeste); sisters, Trudy (Jeff), and Judy (John); and nieces and nephews, Leah, Olivia, Ben, Jessica, Jason, Kate and Jake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph Bolea and Dolores Hatagan Bolea.

Jeffrey attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.  He was an enthusiastic gymnast in college and started his career in education as a health and physical education teacher.  Later, he worked more than 40 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Jeffrey loved the Lord and his church family and spent many years singing in the choir. He served on church committees, programs, acting in plays, and emceed the special friend’s event for 13 years. He loved sports, especially golf, and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved to cook for big and small gatherings of family and friends as often as possible.

Jeffrey’s celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Swift Creek Baptist Church, 7511 N. Spring Run Rd., Midlothian, VA  23112.
