Jean (Tranter) Ross

Jean (Tranter) Ross, Age 93 of Robinson Twp, passed away on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital. Jean was the beloved wife of the late Harold J. Ross who preceded her in death in 2002. Loving stepmother of David Paul Ross (Joan) and Sandra Lynn Ross. Sister of Charles Tranter III (Judi) and the late Joanne Sutton (late Ken). Step-grandmother of Leah Beth Lindsay (Angus) and Steven J. Gourley. Also survived by great-grandchildren Nova and Margo as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Jean worked for many years for Bell Telephone becoming the 1st ever female engineer there. Along with her husband Harold, she enjoyed hunting, golf, sports of all varieties and reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at Archangel Gabriel Parish, Holy Trinity Church, Robinson Twp, at 9am followed by entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Twp. Arrangements entrusted to the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, Ltd, Coraopolis.
