Jean Carolyn (Allione) Linn, 75, of Ohio Township, formerly of Manhasset, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New York City, NY on October 11, 1949, one of two daughters to the late John and Marian (McCloskey) Allione. Beloved wife of Ronald Linn whom she married on July 4, 1975; loving mother of Melanie (Matthew Young) Linn and Ryan (Dalisay Paraiso) Linn; proud grandmother of Rory Linn; cherished sister of Debi (the late Robert) Tudge. Jean was a member of Divine Redeemer, attending both St. James and St. Mary’s Churches. She was a high school graduate of Queen of the Rosary Academy in Amityville, NY. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, Cortland, and her Master’s degree from Penn State University. Her 40-year span as an educator was mostly in the Bellmore, New York School District with focus in Special Education. Jean was a proud military wife who supported her husband and family through multiple deployments as well as other military families. She had a genuine kindness about her that flowed to others. She was outgoing and always ready to lend a helping hand. Loving and appreciating beauty, she was passionate about art and art history. She loved drawing and painting, especially with watercolors. She was also an avid gardener and for the past few years donated her time working on HOA Beautification Committee. She was a life-long learner with great energy that equaled her great spirit. Visitation Friday June 13, 2025 from 2 pm-4 pm, 6 pm-8 pm at Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. where prayers will be recited on Saturday at 10:45 followed by Mass at Divine Redeemer parish, St. Mary’s Church at 11:30 am.. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
