Her tireless efforts to support families was recognized by the Family Support Principles Award at the Allegheny County Family Support Conference in 2003. “The Center” became a second home to her. She enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen, taking annual trips, and spending time in the playroom. She moved to Coraopolis, PA and completed 25 years of committed service to The Center. After retirement in 2015, she focused her attention on her family and community. She loved the role of Grammy and “Tutor Extraordinaire.” She volunteered with the “Wake up The Vote” initiative and provided leadership as Secretary of the Coraopolis Democratic Committee.
