James D. Williamson, 75, of Moon Twp., passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Born September 6, 1945 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late James W. and Jean (Tomer) Williamson. Jim had a long career of 35 years, teaching math at Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School, retiring in 2015. Jim thoroughly enjoyed his retirement as he continued using his remarkable mind to study scientific and mathematical concepts. Jim loved spending time with his family, taking road trips, and exploring art museums.
He will be remembered and missed by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Marianne (Flavin) Williams; his beloved children, James T. (Heather) Williamson of Santa Fe, NM, Jean M Williamson of Vancouver, WA, David A. Williamson of North Braddock, PA, and Steven M. (Kathryn) Williamson of Boston, MA; and his sisters, Jeannie Claus, Marilyn Friend and Susan (Doug) Peterson.
