In Loving Memory of James Edward Walker
Born July 25, 1943, in Sharpsburg, PA, he faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army and lived a life devoted to family, faith, and love. A proud husband of 63 years to his beloved Ruth, together they built a home filled with guidance, values, and unwavering love—raising two grateful sons along the way.
A devout Roman Catholic, loyal Pittsburgh sports fan, and cherished father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he touched many lives with his kindness and strength. After a courageous battle that began in May, he was called home yesterday to eternal peace.
Friends and family will gather Saturday, September 13th from 10 - 11a and a blessing service will be held at 11 am at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Twp. Details for a wake service will be announced at a later time.
He will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the love of his family. Prayers and support for our mom are welcomed as she carries forward the bond they shared for more than six decades.
