It is with such sadness that we share the news that James Siebert “Jimmy” of Imperial, PA passed away peacefully the morning of Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Jimmy was born February 3, 1961, and was a lifelong resident of Moon Township. He was 62 years old. He worked for many years at the Pittsburgh International Airport as a “Skycap”. He loves fishing and was always witty with his humor!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie T. Stokes and Frederick W. Siebert, Jr.
He is survived by many family members that doubled as friends and who loved him very much: his brother and caretaker, Fred; his sisters, Patty, and Amber; brother-in-law, Michael; along with many nieces and nephews; Cory and Jaci (and Jazzy), Jeremy and Kayla, Stefanie and Dan, Nicole, Jason, Erica and Brian and Caitlyn and Chris; along with many friends. He was so thankful for the nurses who took care of him throughout his journey. Especially those in his doctor’s office at Allegheny Health Network Cancer Center in Robinson Township and in the Beaver Healthcare Rehabilitation Center. He referred to them as his “angels”.
Those who love him will remember him with every Penguins, Pirates and Steelers game, every Reese’s peanut butter cup, fish sandwich, and Egg McMuffin consumed. And in every Journey song and every rerun of MASH!
A private celebration of life service will be held for immediate family members.
