James D Piganell passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 17, 2020 at the age of 65.
James was known by many as “Pigs” and “Jim” and was born in Fairbanks, Alaska to John and Rose Piganell on October 2, 1954. He later married and had two sons Sean and Brandon Piganell.
After serving his country in the United States Air Force he graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting; later retiring here in Coraopolis.
He enjoyed traveling to Texas to spend time with his sons and grandkids as well as visiting his favorite vacation spots. One of his favorite past times was a day on the links with his friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his father John Piganell. Survived by his mother Rose Piganell, brothers John Piganell (Geri) and Gary Piganell (Kimberly), significant other Diane D’Aniello, son Sean Piganell (Diane Piganell), son Brandon Piganell (Amy Piganell), and grandchildren Maddalaine Snider (Brian Snider), Giovanni, Antonio, Ava and Ayden Piganell.
