Jacqueline ((Fisher)) Pfaub

Pfaub, Jacqueline (Fisher); Age 94, recently of Pathways in Kennedy Township, formerly long-time rersident of Moon Township, achieved her graduation going Home to her Lord, on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Cumberland, Maryland, on February 3, 1927, she was one of 3 sisters of the late Charles and Alice Fisher. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob, after celebrating 70 years of marriage; loving and devoted mother of Kathy (Tim) Thomas of Moon and David Pfaub of Columbus, OH; cherished grandmother of Alexis and Alyssa Pfaub. Jackie was a faithful member of Union Presbyterian Church of Robinson township, where she served as elder, choir member, led the women’s Bible study for almost 30 years, and shared the Gospel through many mission trips, both locally and abroad. She enjoyed water aerobics as a member of the Sewickley YMCA. Graduating from Ambridge High School in 1945, she worked at Homestead Valve before marrying Bob. Jackie helped with Bob’s college expenses by learning/teaching Arthur Murray dance while also rearing daughter Kathy. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Pitt in 1973 and subsequently did some substitute teaching. Our hearts are greatly saddened by her loss but we rejoice that she is now with her Lord and Savior, perfectly healed. Visitation Wednesday, September 29th from 2- 4 and 6 -8 pm with further visitation Thursday, September 30th from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Avenue, with procession to Union Presbyterian Church of Robinson Township for Funeral Services at 11 am. Rev. Dr. William Younger will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Presbyterian Cemetery. Family suggests memorials made in her name to Union Presbyterian Church Music Fund, 6165 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
