A youthful 77, Jackie, passed suddenly, yet peacefully, in her home with the company of family.

She was predeceased by her parents Thomas & Laura (Floritelli) Moody, and her two sons; Scott Compton & Christopher Cumpston.

Jackie was a kind, generous, loving mother who spent her life with her family and loved ones doing the things she loved most such as cooking, baking, gardening as well as hosting many memorable family gatherings.  Jackie was also a very devoted nurse for over 35 years primarily with OVGH Maternity Department, The Sto Rox FOR as Prenatal Case Manager as well as Home Health Nurse for Gallagher Home Health. .

All who knew Jackie as a friend or co-worker were rewarded with homemade gifts on holidays and birthdays.  Her thoughtfulness was shared with everyone who came into her life.  Jackie made everything she touched beautiful, welcoming and warm. Our mother saw the good in everyone.  She will be greatly missed.

Jackie is survived by her brother Thomas (Kathleen) Moody, daughters Laura, Desiree (Matthew), & Candace as well as three grandchildren, Brooke, NIcholas & Skylar.

We love you mom and are so thankful that God picked you to be our Mom.

A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church/Most Sacred Heart on Friday of Jesus 1304 4th Ave Coraopolis, PA. 

Interment will follow at Holy Souls 4772 Campbells Run Rd Pittsburgh PA.
