Howard D. Watts, Jr.

Howard E. Watts, Jr., 80, of McKeesport, formerly of Coraopolis, died on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at William Penn Care Center, Jeannette. He was born in Coraopolis on October 8, 1940, one of 4 children to the late Doris (Boggess) and Howard E. Watts, Sr. Howard is survived by his three sisters Florence Pallas, Laura Metcalf and Lorraine Watts; 4 nieces, one nephew, 4 great nieces, 2 great nephews and one great great nephew. Howard was a 1958 graduate of West Allegheny High School. He graduated and obtained his teaching certificate from Franco Beauty Academy, Pittsburgh. He owned and operated Nephrites Salon in Wilkinsburg as well as worked for Arbitress Wig Company located at Joseph Hornes. A Memorial Visitation Will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Copeland’s Coraopolis from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Coraopolis Cemetery. Because of Howard’s love of animals, family suggests donations in his name to ASPCA.org.
