Helen L. (Pingrey) Peace

Peace, Helen L.; 89, of Moon Twp, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2023 with family by her side. Born December 5, 1933 in Olean, NY. Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Robert L. Peace. Cherished mother of Nancy (Bob) Steigerwald of Westerville, OH and David (Deb) Peace of Moon Twp. Survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Helen enjoyed her life and her family. She volunteered for many years at the Sewickley Library. In her spare time, Helen enjoyed watching professional tennis and of course the Steelers. She was an avid card player in the neighborhood card club, singles and couples. Friends will be received at the R.D. Copeland Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Rd, Moon Twp on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from (2 – 6 pm). Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 AM followed by interment at the Sewickley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen’s memory can be made to the American Red Cross or Disabled Veteran’s Association.
