Helen E. (Heaton) Lottes

Helen E. (Heaton) Lottes, age 93, a 68-year resident of Moon Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Elmcroft of Bridgeville.  Helen was born in Weirton, WV on November 9, 1926, she was one of four to the late Paul and Elora (Freshour) Heaton. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, William R. Lottes. Beloved mother of Cheryl Snatchko, Barbara Kramer (Alex) and William R. Lottes II (Kathleen); grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 8; sister of Ken Heaton of Alaska, Doris Meek of Georgia and Ronald Heaton of Ohio. Helen was a member of Coraopolis United Methodist Church. She attended the Aliquippa School of Beauty and taught cosmetics. She was a teacher’s aide for 25 years in the Moon Area School Districts. Helen joined her husband at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where a private family committal service was held on Wednesday at 10 AM.
